Piet Mondrian forged for cheap!

Yes these are neoplastic-Ty-drain-copies. They represent paintings from his Lozenge faze in the 1920's.
An original I am sure would go for Hundreds of thousands if not millions! So I made these for about 6 bucks each, less than it would have cost for the posters of either of them. Call me weird! Since I first saw them, I have always wanted a Piet Mondrian painting and Now I have the next best thing, Ty-Drain forgeries.
They are 20"x20" large and not loved by my wife so I hung them up high and behind.

  1. Well not everyone loves lozenges nor Piet Mondrian... but he inspired me BIG TIME my first years of community college. The whole reason I moved to Centralia of all places, at 18, was because they had the best art department of the Washington community college system at the time. I learned about all kinds of artists there, and Mondrian...yeah man! http://qaxeqaixaci.blogspot.com/2011/03/just-because-ty-mentioned-mondrian.html

  2. Ah, btw...I love em. Nothing wrong with copies, especially if 1.)it gets your brush moving and 2.) it inspires you to challenge yourself to do more and more work of your own.
