I would have paid $300 for this, but then as a CB-head with hundreds of parts, just the title would have been worth $100 to me. PARTS bike? If the thing will crank over, fix it! $100. I can't believe you live in a country where motorcycles are practically free. Bless America.

Actually, I have been thinking that if I sold my bike and took a couple years of fucking around trying to find parts I could afford, I really should/could build another CB. I am more conservative than I had previously thought, so that really, when I find something I like, I am kind of a baby about it until I have THAT thing. I am really not interested in having a bike anymore unless it is a CB750 or perhaps something as cool, but one that I built. If HD was cheaper, I would consider it because of the sheer amount of parts and shapes available...but I don't really like their engine very much.
There really is no way to replace that TOTAL feeling of pride of ownership as when you built your own bike, and so I think I should build one again when the opportunity arises.
But back to TY...you should buy this today, now. Don't think about it, just do it. If KAZE enjoys working on this bike, it means it is probably THE easiest bike design to work on ...on the planet. You will enjoy it!
But ask me no questions about electrical. When I was gutting and rebuilding these, I had 3 of every electrical part, and so if there was an ignition problem for example, I just swapped out the part and tried another until the shit worked.

And if you really want an easy job, buy a parts bike.
