I have decided to post my project here instead of my blog. Seems those minds that will wrap around it are here and post-traffic has been light lately..so, I will post in a "project by project" sort of way for interesting and colorful replies.I found that the main foot rests are tweeked. The bar is bent as well as the peg itself. After removing what is left of the rubber foot rests i went to work with a couple whacks with a sledge pounding iron to get the tube straight.
After that I had to use some gentle persuasion with some heat and a bar on the foot peg to right it.

WOW!!!!! You are seriously dedicated. I just read 3 posts in a row and it's like the best story I have read this year. Thanks buddy (sob) I'm feelin' the love!
ReplyDelete110-114F.....doesn't your head hurt when out in that? Right now it is just 82, but the humidity makes it feel like the air is nearly graspable...like I have to bump my way through the moistness to get somewhere. 110 here would just kill people out-right.
