Ducati Project 2010 post #7

OK!!!! i have been waiting all day for this!

I was posting to this blog, and just remembered E-FUCKIN-BAY!!! O-shit! hurry-hurry-HURRY!...only one min to go!------

I signed in to the site, and popped up the tank in my saved items-- with just 15 seconds to go left in the auction, I feverishly plotted down a bid......YES! I Freekin got it! *The tank I was waiting for all my life* or at least the last 6 hours while the tour was on......

It is from Ducati Monza 250 a couple years older than mine I think, and will probably bolt right on in the front, the rear mount will have to be modified still, and the seat pan will change a bit, and the petcock and the gas cap, and a acid bath, and a liner, and, and paint, and, and, BUT?.

But the shape is soo freekin sexy! I had to have it! I may finish both tanks so I have choices ya know. What do you think of this SCORE!!???!! 31 dollars and 15 for shipping! RIGHT On-RiGHT-ON,RIGHT-ON!! I AM SooWAY HAPPY!!....guess I don't care what you think really.
Sexy though huh? I think it offers many more possibility's of getting some than the original tank.

  1. And therein lies the truth of why this tank is superior...thou canst "get some". HAHAHAHA!

Ok, serious face now...I have never seen a tank like this. Are you sure you didn't just make this up? ;)
There are ooooh so many motorcycles and designs which mine eyes have never set upon. I like the idea of interchangeable tanks, but mainly I like that you are able to say things about new petcocks, (custom?) gas caps and welding, which we know, coming from you is very much possible; but "crazy shit talk" from the common throttle twister.

This is my favorite Ty custom story since Special K...
